Facial Recognition
If you want to swim in our indoor and outdoor pools, you can get in here easily and quickly by using facial recognition!
You go through an access gate where a camera scans your face and then you can get in right away.
To get this access, you just need to take a few simple steps beforehand!
What do you need to do?
- go to 'mijnscheldeoord.nl', log in with the details you received after making your reservation and make sure that under 'my details' and 'my travel companions' your full travel party is entered.
- make sure to take a clear photo of each person in the travel group (a selfie of their face). Then go to “My details” and “Upload photos” and add the photo of the relevant person. Make sure it is a clear photo/selfie showing the entire face!
- When you have uploaded the photos/selfies before arrival, you only have to look into the camera at the entrance gate and you can go in!
WARNING:
After uploading the photos, it takes about half an hour before they are activated and working in the system.
Keep this in mind and upload your photos on time!!
How does it work?
At the entrance to both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools there is a gate with a camera. If you want to go swimming and enter, you must first look into this camera for face recognition.If you are successfully recognized, the gate opens automatically and you can walk right through. So your face is your ticket!
In facial recognition, a computer program, using a photograph, measures a number of facial recognition features of the face. When these features are the same as those previously stored (based on a pre-made selfie), the face is recognized.
To create a unique encrypted profile, a template is created from your facial recognition points. In seconds, the unique points are captured and converted to a unique encrypted profile. This encrypted code cannot be traced back to a real face.
The encrypted code is stored in a secure digital vault. All data is stored in the Netherlands, highly secured and provided with high encryption.
Good to know:
The (highly secured) data is automatically deleted one day after departure.
Visitors
Do you have visitors who want to swim? At the reception you can buy a day ticket for 7 Euro. This is a ticket for both the indoor and outdoor pool. Making a selfie is not necessary for this!
Guest
If you have a guest, please register them at the reception desk. You pay the guest rate of 7 Euro per person per night (+ tourist tax) on a camping pitch and 10 Euro for a comforter package (+ tourist tax) in rental accommodation. This includes access to the swimming pool. Taking a selfie of the lodger is not necessary, they will receive a day ticket from us.
Data and system
We work for facial recognition with our supplier Easysecure, specialists in access control and ISO 27001 and Data Pro certified. Easysecure works with IdentySoft's software which is hosted in Cyso's data centers. Cyso is both ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified. The IdentySoft servers are distributed over 3 geographically separated tier4 data centers in the Netherlands. The system is used by our campsite for pool access control.More about Privacy & Security.
